In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, truth and reconciliation, as immigrant settlers to Central Alberta, UBUNTU – Mobilizing Central Alberta, honours and acknowledges Treaty 7 and Treaty 6 regions. This area is the traditional territory of the Niisitapi (Blackfoot), (including the Siksika, the Piikuni, and the Kainai Peoples), the Tsuut’ina, Stoney Nakoda, Cree, Saulteaux and Métis peoples.
